Amathus Soho

What a great experience, This place has very knowledgable and friendly staff! I was exploring different whiskys and had a few questions, all of which were answered. On top of that I found some drinks I'd never heard of before. I'll definitely be back and would recommend it. Cheers!

It feels really sad to write this review as when visiting this business in the past I had been really impressed, even recommending it to friends. I purchased from them regularly before the pandemic and even used their website during the pandemic.

Unfortunately, when visiting today, I felt let down. I went in to purchase a specific bottle of bourbon (over £200) but when getting to the till the price was over £20 more than the price on the shelf, I asked the staff to honour the price on the shelf but they were not willing to do so.

I fully understand that mistakes happen but when a business is not willing to honour the displayed price then that built up trust is lost.

Amazing treasure trove of spirits, with a decent selection of mixers. They have a large number of reasonably priced miniatures which are good for trying before you buy a large bottle, or for picnics.

I tried to refund the alcohol I bought the day before, but they didn't give it to me There was no problem at all and there was a receipt. They didn't even give me an exchange it. Please keep that in mind.

What a gem! Spectacular selection of Whiskeys and Saskia was incredibly knowledgeable. Found a few bottles here that I absolutely could not find anywhere else, and I called nearly every whisky shop in London looking. If you're looking for scotch for yourself or a fine gift for a whisky lover, this is the best spot in London, hands down.

Amazing selection, staff is one of the best (knowledge, friendliness). I only buy my alcohol here.

Its a great liquor store in soho (a bit outside the main of Soho)
They have a great selection of beer, wine & alcohol!
If I didn't google it beforehand I probably was missing it, as its a small store on a quiet street. it was a pleasure to go and buy there they are very friendly and welcoming I will definitely will come again.

Good products but staff isn't helpful. Didn't make any effort to help me and even when asked they barely shared their knowledge.
