A good selection of beers in the centre of Blackheath. Sometimes they do tastings as well. Friendly staff, strongly recommended!

I came into this establishment as a tourist looking for some local, interesting, and unique kinds of beer to try out while visiting London. This was the perfect place for me to find exactly what I was looking for.

The staff was very engaging and informative, providing excellent service. We specified that we were looking specifically for local beer from local breweries, and the staff member gave us a multitude of options from the London area we were in, London as a whole, and then the parts of England that were surrounding London, so we could choose from the options fully-informed.

We enjoyed our experience here (as well as the beers that were recommended) immensely.

So popped in on the way home for a pay day treat. Wish I'd got the guys name. But we went through quite a few of his recommendations and can't thank him enough it's been quite an evening of sampling.

Decent selection of bottled craft beers. Good range.

We used to pop in from time to time for a nice bottle of wine or beers but recently we feel most unwelcome - the gentleman who works there is simply rude. He always makes us feel like we're distracting him from something more important (like smocking at the back of the store - the shop stinks!) and to any of our questions he says 'no we don't have it, no I don't know, all we have is out here'.
Not sure if we'd ever come again when he's there.
Otherwise, nice selection of wines which changes seasonally and has some great gems.

Shopkeeper is rude, won’t be buying anything there again. A lady who was politely explaining she was exempt from wearing a face mask was refused service. This is unlawful.

Refused to serve me without a mask after I told the guy in the store that I’m exempt. He asked me for proof of exemption which he is not allowed to and I am not legally obliged to carry any.
