Majestic Wine

Very knowledgable and friendly staff who have consistently managed to recommend great new wines for me to try. There's always a great variety of wines and beers (some great local craft ales) and I've added a few new favourites from their stock. Try the Nytimber if you're after an alternative to the expensive French champagnes or if you're feeling patriotic!

Really pleased with this place. Went three times lately and although I got three different memebrs of staff serving me, they were ALL helpful and friendly. I didn't want the best wine as I was holding a big barbeque - but received good avice and the glass loan service was very useful! The chilled Rose (Pinot Grigio) went down very well with the ladies.

I went in for the first time today to look for a particular gin. Sadly they did not have what I was looking for but they did have a fantastic selection (around 30-40 different bottles). The shop assistant (manager I think) was absolutely brilliant in talking through the gains that they did have even offering samples. I will definately be going back in the future when it is time to try something new!

The wine selection is good but the lady working there when I visited today offered no customer service. Uncomfortable experience and won’t be returning.

Not cheap but always good stuff, friendly and informed staff and trollies for when you're planning a b̶e̶n̶d̶e̶r̶ a bit of a do with friends.
