Simon and James are very friendly brothers who are really trying hard to make a success of selling English wines, which are so much better now than they used to be. They have a range representing about 30 English vineyards, so there's something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable when compared to other suppliers of English wines. Some of their sparkling bruts compare very favourably with French champagne. They also market their own label sparkling brut, which is very well priced and good quality. I recommend you give them a try!

What a great find ! Simon and James are very welcoming and knowledgeable about English wines. They had the Wiston Estate sparkling rose open for tasting which was amazing, and recommend it highly. They have an impressive range of fine English wines from all over England. Definitely going back to try some gins soon !

In my pursuit of English wine to complement a Burns night meets St Georges, I found the brothers to be both helpful and extremely knowledgeable when it came to matching my particular and peculiar request. I have subsequently tasted and bought their own label sparking wine, which is delightful. With reference to the service, I have engaged them to supply the Old Stoic Society, which I chair, with English Sparkling Wine, and again, their advice re the wine and the labeling has been invaluable. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone who wishes to gain a good understanding of the phenomenon that is English Wine.

What a charming pair the Hawkins Brothers are. I don't profess to know that much about English Wine but recently there has been a huge amount of press. I had no idea that English Sparkling Wines hold their own in International Wine Competitions and that they tasted so good. With regular tastings in the courtyard outside their shop there is always a different wine on offer. These guys are helpful, knowledgeable and their wines are perfect for a celebration, gift or treat to have at home. In the courtyard behind Secretts legendary farm shop there is plenty to do once on site! I have really enjoyed all the wine I have bought from this shop and its very cool to see an emerging fine wine movement in England.

Lovely English Wine Merchants with a great selection of local award winning wines plus their own range. Best to mix this visit with a shop at Secretts Award Winning Farm Shop. Amazing selection of cheese, cooking ingredients, gin and artisan breads. Stunning selection of preserves, mustards too. Lovely Home grown produce and friendly staff.
