My partner and I enjoy the odd bottle of wine but are not knowledgeable about wine.
We went in and spoke to a lovely blonde man, who we told we were looking for something very sweet with a budget of 20 pounds. He recommended 4 bottles to us and told us his experiences of them; he offered tasting sessions but we were unable to partake as we had to get on the motorway within the hour to go home.
We purchased the bottle that he recommended most highly, it was not the cheapest one, nor was it the most expensive - but WOW it was amazing!
We are now planning to visit our local branch to purchase more. Thank you!

For anyone looking for a sweet white wine, try The Ned Noble Sauvignon Blanc 2015. It is absolutely wonderful!!

A few months ago my partner and I did a couple of your wine tastings at the Summertown store. When enticed by Majestic staff to sign up for the tasting we were told that the £10 tasting fee would be redeemable in store afterwards. Today we went to use the vouchers and told that we needed to buy £50 worth of items to use each £10 voucher. This might seem like a reasonable condition but it was never explained to us at the tasting, written anywhere on the voucher or written anywhere on terms and conditions. So needless to say we feel very cheated. I have spent a lot of money in store previously and had up until now recommended you to all of my friends .

As with alliances tic Wine shops you buy a minimum of 6 bottles of wines or spirits. Can be a mixed batch of bottles. Staff knowledge and helpful. Can borrow glasses for larger events.

Bought 14 bottles of wine, some from monthly special offers. A member of staff was helping me with selection. He was very knowledgeable. The other member of staff kindly put my purchase in the booth of my car. Very good impression of service, thank you.

Great wine selection. The manager recommended some wines I had never encountered before and most truly offered an unexpected and thoroughly enjoyable bouquet.
