A proper shop with its own character. Loads to browse, with lots of delights and surprises. And because it's all traditional, quality wood, it feels genuine and different. There really is something for all ages too, from traditional toys that never lose their appeal, like Noah's Ark, forts, bows and arrows, to unusual gifts for grown ups. There are practical items too, like kitchen utensils, and other pieces that qualify as works of art! What's more, the staff are genuinely helpful and know what they are talking about! Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful wooden toys, decorative items & useful things for the home. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, well worth a visit even if you just want a look around

Some great looking products from the outside. Went in to look and the man didn’t even greet us, just grunted that he was closing and to be quick. Of course, we were quick, we didn’t want to buy anything after that! Poor customer service 👎

Lovely range if gifts in wood. I wish there was more on offer for 0 to 12 month old.

Another visit and yes lots more on offer the younger ones. So many beautiful things. A lovely lovely shop. I have bought many gifts from here my personal favourite being the holding cross.

Discriminatory against the disabled and generally aggressive, rude and vile behaviour from the female assistant.
Don't waste your money supporting this discriminatory shop which requires you to declare your disability for their satisfaction despite the fact the government says we don't have to. They obviously have no problem discriminating against those with disabilities or hidden disabilities.
The female assistant was vile and barked at us to put on a mask as soon as we entered, despite the fact there was no one else in the shop! She did not mention anything about 'unless you are exempt', she simply barked her orders. When I challenged her (because I am disabled and exempt) she was aggressive and said it was shop policy. This was a lie because I had been in there a few days before when it was quite busy and not only was the male assistant not wearing a mask, he did not ask a single customer to put one on. I voted with my feet, so did my husband and sister. Hopefully these upholders of medical apartheid will feel the pinch in their pockets soon...the only place they would notice a pinch seeing as though the rest of their humanity and conscience is numb.

A place where almost everything is made of beautiful wood, what's not to love. Every time I go I buy something. The wooden pebbles are next on my list!
From games, to cards, to toys,....so much to chose from!
