A really lovely Sunday dinner with amazing vegan options. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There were 7 of us and we were all really impressed with the quality and taste of the food with all 7 dinners coming out together, all lovely and hot. Thank you for such a great meal, which was really well priced too.

Fabulous pub for a Sunday lunch. If you go for a weekend drive, definitely stop here. We had the roast and it was delicious! Good options (including veggie/vegan if I remember right), unlimited gravy and the cauliflower cheese was great! There’s plenty of seating inside, benches out the front on the road in this cute village, and a big beer garden out the back with plenty of seating. It’s difficult to say what was better - the food or the service. Really friendly relaxed staff who are very welcoming and accommodating. Good drink options too (beers and ciders). Really enjoyed the whole experience.

I have been a local for some 11 years, and had some great times in this lovely little local. Admittedly there has been one or two rowdy people frequent the pub at times, but the newly appointed manager has done a great job ironing out the issues. I would recommend a visit as it is a lovely place to go and the food is tasty, and reasonably priced. I for one will carry on using the good old local, and may you all too, use it or lose it as they say.
