Ate here on Fri /Sat niite.Never been in a premises so devoid of atmosphere, due to mainly lack of custom and staff except one young lady on Fri nite totally ignoring you and only talking if you were one of few locals in other bar
On Sat left at at 2100 as I was the only customer in the whole place .
Food adequate but pretty sure there are a few micro waves in kitchen

Lovely place had the Sunday buffet it was very nice plenty of helpings , recommend steak knifes as trying to cut the delicious beef was extremely difficult as knifes very blunt causing the beef look tough

Was not impressed with the food, pie had shop bought insipid pastry on top , chips were hard in the middle , looked like they had been cooked in the microwave, not pleasant, vegetables were awful couldn't eat them. Only good thing about our visit was the staff were absolutely lovely. Definitely wont be going there again.

Beautiful village pub
Visited on a busy Sunday, despite this we were acknowledged straight away and served soon after. The food looked great however we were tempted into the garden for a pint or two

The staff are brilliant. The coke from tap is absolutely disgusting.. Its bitter and dirty. Gravy is also stringy in texture and clots on the plate. I imagine they have better dishes however. Lovely place despite a few minor problems.

Went for a meal for the first and LAST visit had cause to send an undercooked burger back which came back alright but the chips were inedible. When we asked for the bill we asked if there was a reduction because it was not a satisfactory meal next minute the chef came out yelling the odds saying that the burger had been eaten and no one else had complained about the chips and if we didn't pay for the food she was going to call the police. All we wanted was someone to acknowledge our complaint without shouting at us and when the owner arrived he said nobody else had made any comments but did begrudgingly apologize eventually but the staff were really nice shame about the management
