Amazing selection of cocktails (I believe I had 7 the other day), wonderful bar staff and a beautiful setting especially with the antiques shop attached.

Nice little pub to relax in. Serving cocktails,beer and wine. Service is friendly and welcoming making the visit more enjoyable.If you fancy you visit an excellent antiques shop which is situated next door to the pub. Highly recommended

Cocktails, wine and beer. Attentive table service. Good prices. Great atmosphere. Felt like a great experience. Oh and its improved in the 15 years since my last visit. Don't hesitate.

My sister and I popped in for a cocktail. We were served by the delightful Ana who is a remarkable cocktail craftstress. Needless to say we had 5 cocktails and departed very very happy. Well run and definitely worth a visit!:)

Great pub. Currently £5 per Moretti (Oct 2022). History that goes back hundreds of years. Swedish Landlady is friendly and sociable. The occasional ABBA seems obligatory. See the antique shop during the day for some interesting finds. There's a Russian 1970s anti tank missile here this week.

Intriguing, civilised bar with an aire of grace & sophistication of a relaxed place to enjoy drinks. Super well stocked bar, good beer selection. Unusual to be seated and served at the table but polite, friendly, at ease service adds to the calm atmosphere.

Wonderful welcoming experience. Great range of ales, spirits and even great cocktails too. A must if walking around old Portsmouth.
