The Packe Arms

Very nice pub with very friendly and helpful staff. I've given it four stars because since the first lockdown the menu has been drastically reduced for meal options such as vegan or gluten free.
If the old menu was restored it would get five stars.

Staff were very friendly as soon as we walked in and attentive but not too much. The food was good, hot plates and served within a reasonable timescale. Plenty of it and good overall choices

I recently went to this pub while visiting family in Shepshed. The place is clean and tidy and has a really friendly atmosphere. I went with my partner and we had a meal. The quality of the food is really good and at very reasonable prices with comfy seats. Wait staff are friendly and attentive and were able to advise us well as my partner is vegetarian. We were served by a member of staff called James who explained everything and saw to us well.
I’d definitely come to this pub again for the well priced food and the calm atmosphere. Thanks to all the staff for making our visit good. Cheers!

We came here for a meal over Christmas and again last week and W O W, the place is very clean, the food was great, the staff were so very polite, especially James who was waiting on our table, our friends where impressed too. Keep doing what you're doing. We WILL. definitely be back soon. Thank you.👍

We have eaten here quite often over the last few years. The food has always been good and the staff lovely.

We have been quite a bit recently with the Ribeye being a firm favourite, as is the pork belly which is not currently on the menu.

The staff are fab especially the blond lady I think her name is Charlie.

Lovely old pub to visit in the countryside. Came here for my partners birthday meal which was the first time I had visited. I had the ‘Trio Sunday meal’ which was more than perfect. Shoutout to the Great staff who looked after us on the day!

We went for boxing day dinner, so had to pre order (end of Nov) friendly service, good food nice atmosphere. Was looking forward to trying the Flowerpot (pudding) they had none left?! I pre ordered?

I last went here 10 years ago and said I would never go back again. Unfortunately it was pre booked and deposit paid by a family member. I can assure you that your dinner is cooked. Chicken wings was probably cooked for 2 days and the mash potatoes had a skin on them as they was under a hot plate for a not a very busy place. If it was busy god help you. Never going back again. If I was booked to go again, I would have to make an excuse. Sorry, but absolutely terrible. Over priced rubbish, and a chief that clearly does not care. Ramsey would have a field day with you.
