Good food at an excellent price. You cannot fault the portions and everything we had tasted good. Friendly staff and well worth a visit. Food served until 9pm and with specials everyday that include a drink from about £7.50 you cannot go wrong. This pub deserves to do well so go and support your local!

Really nice food and friendly staff great price aswell two of us had chicken burgers and chips and two had tuna cheese melt baguette very nice would recommend its on the afternoon menu

Fantastic friendly experience. Staff are super helpful and accommodating. We were a large group of about 50 Aussies looking for a good feed. With minimal notice of around 30 minutes, the staff at the Guild quickly organised things to accommodate all of us..... best thing was the food is great, staff friendly and beers cold 🤙

A good family friendly pub. The food was of a good standard and arrived in good time. Staff were very friendly. One thing that would make it even better is improving the play area. Add swings and a slide

Visited yesterday. Great food and atmosphere. We were told there's a new chef. Thumbs up from us! Prices are decent too.

We where welcome by friendly staff Emma was great and the manger.
We both had scampi and chips they were very nice and my son had the childrens chicken dippers and chips which he enjoyed.
We where all pleased with our meals and the service

Our experience was great. The team at the Guild Merchant were attentive and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and their happy manner was a warm welcome on a freezing day. Food was delicious and was brought to our table in a timely manner. The place looked very festive too. Will definitely see you again. Thank you.

Been a regular customer since moving to the area.
Went in recently just after 19:30 to grab some dinner only to be told that food stops at 19:30.
Well this was a massive disappointment not only to me but also another group that came in behind.

Menus & cutlery still on tables, no signs or notices anywhere of food times nor on the website. Absolutely crazy to stop serving food at such an early time.
Unfortunately that’s me off to The Ancient Oak down the road who serve food up to 21:45
