We stopped off here on a weekday afternoon.
The pub was quiet and welcoming.
The food was nice and good value.
A large open fire was being prepared for lighting.
This place has a nice and cosy feel to it.

We had a team meal here a few weeks ago and it was lovely. The food was absolutely delicious and great value for money. It was lovely visiting another local business and we'll definitely be back.
Highly recommend the goat cheese risotto.

Booked in last minute for a sunday roast with family and friends, staff were able to accomodate the large group and gave incredible service, thank you!

Hubby and I had a delicious evening meal; a main and dessert each. Could highly recommend, very tasty, perfectly cooked and presented. Head and shoulders above your usual pub food. Staff friendly and attentive too. We'll be back for more 5* food.

Best take out food in the village & surrounding areas.

Lovely old local pub. Good selection of well kept ales, very friendly, hospitable staff and the food is superb (the takeaway pizza and burgers are amazing quality, great value and the delivery service is spot-on). Thanks all, especially in these weird times yet again!

Amazing staff, amazing food and an amazing atmosphere! I have been fortunate enough to see what a wonderful pub this has become under the ownership of Neil and management of Phil. You are always made to feel very welcome and other customers are extremely friendly. With sports on regularly, plenty of space to find a seat and an excellent menu cooked by excellent chefs this is the model of what other pubs should aspire to be.

Popped in for lunch today a lovely warm welcome for our first visit. The food was very hot and presented well. Beer was great and my wife enjoyed her glass of wine. Definitely going back.
