Warm and friendly welcome was offered, as a friend and I took refuge there, while awaiting confirmation of a postcode, to complete a collection. With a member of the local pool team. Only to happy to distract from the fact, an half hour collection had taken all day. Left far and square, good enjoyed game away from home.

Small but good pub, no posh beers just your old fashioned bitter, mild and lager. Toilets however where a disgrace, they smelt awful and could smell them before you even entered. The walls in the ladies where stained and actually wet with damp, really let the place down

This place is a real English 'local' with some lovely staff and a friendly, cosy atmosphere. Also allows dogs which is a bonus and the resident cat is quite the little cutie

Looks lovely from outside but cold and dark inside as no lights on or heating even though cold wet autumnal day when we visited. needs urgent attention and revamp asap also a warm welcome would be expected

Great friendly little pub barmaid very good , gets busy Friday Saturday.
