Watched the StoneAsh blues band last night. Brilliant pub.

Since I'm visiting the place and they didn't have the beer I could drink they bought a case of my favourite alcohol ( Newcastle brown ale) !!!
The landlord and landlady where very good and the locals where very friendly...
It's a pub I'd go back to :-)

While fitting in with my bus timetable I came in for a warm by the solid fuel stove and enjoyed two excellent pints of cask ale! I started with a 'Blond' and then a 'Moon Madness'. I was very tempted to miss my chosen bus!

I really like this pub. It's sort of a proper pub....a drinking pub. Good beers. Friendly staff.

Moving to Stafford soon, so thought I'd do a reckie of the town pubs.
Popped in here for couple. Right up my street as I am into classic rock, so well chuffed to hear their playlist. The beer is great too and a nice welcome

Great little pub, nice atmosphere and good beer. Highly recommended and handy for the interval at the Gatehouse next door.
