We booked a table for a birthday family meal. The staff were amazing, really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food was good, and didn't take too long. Lunch and drinks for 6 people for just over £70 is really good value. We were served by Rhian (according to receipt) so a massive thank you to her- great service and super friendly.

We only popped in for a quick drink while out for a walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks served quickly and were brought to the table as a barrel was being changed. Always nice to feel welcome.

Really nice place, clean and tidy. Food is good but a bit on the expensive side. Could really do with more choice for the kids menu and can't understand how they send half a pizza as a kid's meal 🙄 with nothing else with it? A little bit of improvement on the frozen chicken dippers and chip's and this would have been a 5 star review. 👍🏼

We went here for a large family meal this evening. A were impressed by the friendliness of the staff.
As a larger group (11 people). Ohowever, the staff worked hard so they all arrived at the same time and were warm. We enjoyed the flavoursome meals.
We did try ordering drinks through the QE (which we successfully ordered our meal through). However, found we could not decrease the amount of a drink ordered, so went to the bar instead. Though that was just a small thing.

In conclusion a lovely friendly dining experience, with generous portions.
Would definitely recommend

We called in this evening for tea and were really pleased we did! The pub has a nice feel to it, clean and with welcoming staff too. The ketchup and other sauces were all clean and fresh which isn't always the case in other pubs. We ordered the rump steak and the gammon. Both were delicious with plentiful accompaniments - chips were crisp and fresh. We were so pleased we ordered dessert too! Sticky toffee pudding and chocolate orange sponge- both lovely. Good choice of desserts and reasonably priced. All round a great experience so plan to return again soon.

We cannot be more impressed with our service and the food.
We had planned a family meal to celebrate and hadn’t been able to book anything prior due to other commitments. I called about 5 minutes before arrival and they have a table waiting for us.
The staff were lovely and welcoming.
We ordered via the qr code which made everything easier for our party. The service was quick, the food was tasty and overall just a really great place

I think you can tell the quality of an eatery by the condition and quality of its condiments. So lovely to be greeted by a smile, and they know exactly what gluten-free is and where he menu is! Then sit at clean seats and table, not wait too long for your meal. Then open clean condiments that are gluten-free, too! We both had gammon with a lovely fried egg and pineapple ring (tin) chips and peas. The next time I'm going to have a dessert, I just wasn't prepared for so much choice in the gluten-free section, plus they do dairyfree ice cream! It's very icy/snowy out, and although the entry is clear, the outer paths aren't. There is plenty of room in the car park.

First visit to The Bobbin Mill. I had the 10oz Rump with sweet potato fries - the piece/cut of steak was a little chewy but was cooked to my liking (medium rare). My little boy had the children's Pepperoni Pizza which was delicious - cooked in a pizza oven, very nice! Hubby had the Knockout Burger which he described as "the best cheap / pub grub burger he's ever had" and he really enjoyed it. I also won a Pina Colada on a table competition and that was delicious too. Little one had the Children's Brownie and Ice Cream for afters which he really enjoyed and it was only £1.45 - fantastic value!

Staff were very friendly, everything was clean and covid safe. All the food and drinks were reasonably priced and good value. All in all, we enjoyed our visit to The Bobbin Mill and will be back again soon :)
