Great place, food excellent, staff lovely,

Fabulous food as always and a cheeky wine on a school night

Ace pub - great views. Not eaten but did look like food was very nice

Great food good atmosphere and a pub with good background music that's exceptional these days rarely found

Has car park. A 7pm family visit. Warm inside for winter. Seating was good. Staff were polite. Toilets cold and needed updating. Roast dinner. Pork . Pork was good. Veg sprouts were raw. Carrots, 2 thin round slices hardly worth having, some reason there was 1 mange tout . Some other veg which was mush with sauce. The yorkshire pudding was dry and hard. Cumberland sausage and mash was good. Roast beef dinner worse than the pork dinner as the beef was so tough we needed a steak knife to cut it. Mentioned to staff who just said, (Oh sorry about that. ). Had to send coffee back it was awful, to be told it was instant coffee as the machine was broken.
Pity as had high hopes for this place after all the good reviews.
Sorry but won't go again. How can you get a roast dinner so wrong.

Really friendly atmosphere, went in on Christmas day , daughter has moved near by so will be popping in quite a bit from now one , haven't had a meal yet but will definitely be commenting

Delightful place with a great atmosphere. Rural dining with a warm welcome and great hosts. The Birthday boy and his guests were well taken care of and the staff were friendly and approachable. Food went down great too. Service was to be expected as we were a group of 30. All round it was a fabulous night.
