Small friendly pub in heart of Nazeing. Service with a smile. We ordered in pizzas and enjoyed a great evening with friends and family. Will be back!!

Attended a holy communion party there on Sunday and were really impressed
. Food was amazing and just the right size for a bouncy castle and the staff were really friendly and approachable. Only thing I'd suggest is some of the tables were a bit rickety and could do with being replaced. Would definitely go back.

Pub recently reopened under new management .. barman very friendly and welcoming ... they are having a bar b q on sunday 21 august .. would love it if everyone could get behind this and get the crooked billet on the map!!! Lovely village pub.

Great friendly pub, food at the weekends

Called and made a table reservation,staff couldn't of been more helpful. Had a great afternoon with friends in the garden and luckily the weather held out and we didn't need the marquee. Nice selection of lagers and a few beers, have recently started doing food so will have to go back to try...
