Kings Corner

I think it really depends on what you like. If you like fast pub food that is on your table in 9 minutes then this is your place. We were a table of 6. I personally didn’t like the pre heated frozen food but my family did. The bacon on my burger looked like it was cooked last year and I nearly broke a tooth on it. The fries had been reheated so many times they could have been mistaken for the queens guard. We had ordered, eaten and left within 30 minutes so I think this tells you all you need to know. However, each to their own, it is good value for money if that’s the sort of food you like.

Lovely quiet lunch whilst getting on with some work today. Ultimate southern fried burger was great (and great value, but maybe I’m used to London prices - either way - a win win!) and the portion size left my stuffed. My server Charlotte was smiley, friendly and attentive throughout and made me feel extremely welcome and looked after!

Saturday lunchtime good food reasonable price. Loved the chicken goujons, breaded mushrooms, big burgers and grills. Good family pub! Friendly service.

Booked for a large group for a pre- Christmas meal, and I'm so glad we chose the Kings corner over anywhere else! Wonderful friendly service, and they managed to bring all our food out together (20 meals) all excellent quality, temperature. Really reasonably priced too. The children in the group were all a little over excited, but the staff were kind and patient, and even offered them free balloon modelling and face painting, which was a really lovely surprise. Everyone agreed we couldn't have gone anywhere better! Thank you so much to all the fantastic staff, we were so impressed, and sorry its taken me so long to write a review! Claire

Went for our Christmas dinner again this year , it must be our 6th time now , food was 110% yet again ( thank you Simon)

Absolutely love this place all the staff are very lovely and always ask about my grandad who also loves the place and ask how my nan is doing food is lovely and the rump steak well it's so so juicy and sue and Simon are also super stars definitely worth a visit

Good atmosphere, friendly staff and food of good quality. We enjoyed our lunch at the Kings Corner.
