Really enjoyed this visit, its been a while, my food was very nice & cooked to my liking. I opted for the Murphy t-bone steak medium-well & it was delicious, don't quite know just how i managed a desert but it did & took pics just to tease my siblings haha. Oh & my wife enjoyed her meal also.

Absolutely love this place been going for over 20 yrs now. The meals are definitely worth the money. The staff are friendly. Never had any issues at all. They have upstairs are and balcony. Which you can either just drink or eat. Then they have plenty of room downstairs and outside in the garden with a view to the canal. I have always recommended this place and always will. I love the 32oz mixed grill with all the trimmings. It only cost around £16 well worth the money compared to some places I have been in the past. Xx

What a great place to visit. Busy in a Sunday afternoon but plenty of staff serving. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Canal at end of garden. Nice 2 mile circuit walk from pub around canal. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommended

Starter was good but too spicy, beef fillet steak had a lack of taste, not fully bodied taste like not feel the steak in a mouth, chips were okay. Pop and ale same as everywhere.

Service efficient and friendly. Price not too bad. One of the best steaks I have eaten in a long time. Cooked perfectly to order. They have meal deals. Well worth a visit. Ps beautiful pudding

Overcooked food and miserable staff. Waiter brought the food over (but not the onion rings) and left without asking whether we wanted any sauce or condiments. I wouldn’t have minded if they had some out, I’d have got up and got them myself. Tables were left uncleared. A shame really as the location’s lovely but we won’t be eating there again. If you want a nice meal locally, go to Nadee in Findern

The steaks here were INCREDIBLE!!! such good value for money. We will definitely be going back. My father in law had the Murphy (32oz tbone) and said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The only downside was that the toilet was disgusting. I had my baby and had to use the disabled / baby changing room to sort her nappy and it was a state! It wasn't even busy either and we went at 6:30 on a Monday night, so it was very quiet. Clearly the staff don't do regular checks on the toilet facilities.
