The Humble Plumb

Lovely little pub the barman was super friendly too. Had a good feed-up during our lunch break. The garden in the sun is just 👌👌 so would've loved to stay for a few! Reasonably priced and food was fresh and tasty!

Loveliest pub around. 😍 I consider it my local even though I gotta walk past at least one other pub to get there. 🤣 Such a friendly happy place, feels like a country pub dropped in the middle of the town... But still plenty lively of an evening too.

Back to our proper local with Rusty and Rob in control. Ales are superb, but have some guest ciders, which are perfect in the heat. No food until September, which is a bit disappointing. However, great atmosphere and highly recommended. Support you local if you can!

Had to find an indoor venue for my dog and self, in a hurry. The Humble Plumb came up trumps. Very dog friendly. Cosy, hot drinks, pleasant and helpful barman.

Lovely pub staff are very friendly food was good reasonably priced "Ben" served us was a lovely friendly guy....would recommend!!

Came in for a Sunday roast today and the food was vile. I used to love going to the plumb so really unsure if there is a new chef or not but the potatoes were rock hard, you couldn't even cut through them. The rest of the roast dinner you couldn't even taste through the gravy, worst roast I've EVER had.

I will never return and it's a real shame.

So disappointed with the Plumb, a complete disaster, they failed to deliver on the Christmas dinners, diners went on home with empty tummies. The starter was so late and the main course and sweets didn't even turn up !! So 1 star for that because we can't give a zero but sadly this Christmas Do was a non-starter. We'll never return !!

Went in for a drink and was told they don't have a drinks menu! What pub doesn't have a drinks menu, yet you go in the toilet and they have a menu of shots they offer on the back of the cubicle door! How are you supposed to know what drinks they do and how much they cost! Ridiculous!
