Stags Head Inn

4 of us went there, we all had different meals and all ended up with clean plates. We had 3 different puddings . Could not fault anything, the Young Ladies serving were very polite, friendly and attentive. Would recommend going there it's a must on our holidays.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, it was lovely.
Sat by the lake watching the fish with good beer and excellent food, the homemade fish cakes were delicious.
Staff are great and the pub being dog friendly is a bonus.
Well worth a detour if you are passing near by.

Well worth stopping here for lunch or a relaxing drink. The local steak was not only tasty but cooked to perfection. Eat in a comfortable, traditional Devon pub and then relax with a drink outside amongst the flowers or beside the lake watching the fish. Enjoy.

The best food we had in Devon! What lovely people & a great authentic Devon country pub. We ended up having lunch the next day because our dinners were so good. Everything is home made. A little gem.

Late arrival with no advanced booking, got us in, seated and served in great time. Wonderful beef lunch with Exmoor Ale to accompany. Ace!

Highly recommend coming here, we had a lovely evening last night. We booked at very short notice but they kindly arranged a table for us and I also have food allergies and I was able to select my chosen meal from the menu and it was prepared with ingredients to accommodate my allergies so I had the same dish, very delicious. Will definitely be returning very soon, thank you 😊

Stopped off on our way home, for Sunday lunch.We hadn’t booked, the lovely lady behind the bar offered us a table. The food was exceptional & great service too. We will certainly be returning. Thank you for your hospitality.

Pre-Christmas lunch with friends. Lovely place, good food and really welcoming friendly owners and staff. Will be back
