It's a really nice little pub with a really great selection of craft beers, stouts and others. The staff were very nice and friendly.

This place is absolutely fantastic and my partner and I find ourselves in here more often than we’d like to mention because of it. It is only a 40 minute walk from our house, so works perfectly when incorporating it with a weekend walk. Plus it’s the only drinking hole worth visiting locally. The staff are all wonderfully welcoming and friendly and will always offer you helpful recommendations. There beer section is forever changing, hence why the regular visits too as it keeps enticing you back in!

Superb ale selection, great atmosphere. A real gem and the original micro pub!! Get there early or you will be standing.

If you're into your beer then this is the best pub in the city. The owner is lovely and despite it's small size there is a real sense of community here.

One of my favorites place to be! Nice environment, easy to meet new people and chat. And, obviously, fantastic choice of craft beers!

Get the one negative out of the way, like most independent ale houses it's probably too small but apart from that it's fairly great.
Good selection of drinks, decent prices and friendly staff.
Going to make more of a effort to pop in more often.
