Great pub with lots of seating inside and out. Kids play area at the rear of the pub. Excellent food and beer and they also do eating challenges for those with a big appetites. Nice relaxed atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. Food is great and reasonably priced.

We go here twice a week as a club so bit biased as we know the staff. However they have always been friendly and put up with us mid week staying to closing time. Good selection of beers as well. Don't eat here so can't comment.

We went here because it was conveniently close to where one of our party needed to be. The food was good, varied, and quick.

The only real issue was when a football match came on the television. The speaker volume was turned up to 11, defeating any attempt at conversation and helping to promote blood leaking from our ears. I considered saying something, but we were definitely in the minority; there were plenty of people who were obviously there to watch.

In summary, a good place to go, but beware of game nights, and perhaps try to use one of the tables further from the television.

The pub itself gets 3 stars as it’s nice enough and great if you want a pub to watch sport in, but the food is just abysmal. Yes it can be cheap if you take advantage of one of the offers, but it’s such bad quality - chicken nuggets for the kids which have the texture of a weird foam and taste of nothing but salt and grease from the batter. Lasagne which was way over-cooked and tasted of nothing but the cheese on top, accompanied by the limp remnants of a packet salad.

Why is this food ok to serve? I get that it’s cheap food for the masses but even so, it shouldn’t be acceptable in 2022.

Shame on you, Greene King.

Pleasant pub with some good food and an outside play area next to a decent sized beer garden.
Food can be a bit hit and miss with items on the menu not available quite often. But it's always well cooked.
Staff are friendly and helpful.

This pub is great as a sports bar. It has a pool table and darts aswell. The toilets weren't in good condition and one was out of order. It's quite big and the staff are friendly. Just feels a bit tired and needs to be kept an eye on cleanliness wise, esp the toilets.
