Great little village pub with outside seating

We've been here a number of time, and always had a lovely meal with
our friends. The owner is very welcoming, and great food.

Not cycle friendly. There is a sign to the garden saying NO Bikes but nowhere provided to lock them safely, so we cycled away and they lost our custom. Another pub got it instead. All it takes is somewhere to safely lock a bike and you will attract more people. Simple!

Bar staff are lovely and give good recommendations. Sunday roasts are delicious. There is outdoor seating and you’ll get into conversation with the locals.

Very friendly. Dogs and children welcome. Landlord has always been great with the grandchildren and their Nanny.

Food was disappointing .. served fried frozen food claiming as homemade and a member of staff was inappropriate in his friendliness... felt uncomfortable and totally unhealthy

Phoned at the being of the week I was told hat yes they do bar snacks on a Sunday, when I turned up on Sunday I was told that there was no snacks available. I and my family will not be going there again even if they are desperate for custom I the future.
