Great pub. Probably the best roast dinner in Kent. Good sizes and the staff are very nice. Definitely book for a roast on a Sunday. Make sure you take your appetite as you will not leave on an empty stomach. Definitely recommend!

The best roast dinner in Bromley. A proper Sunday roast with great portion sizes.

Never seen so many roast potatoes on one plate! The side of veggies is tasty and better than the portions you get in fancy pubs. No frills here, just a hearty Sunday lunch.

Think it’s £12-13 for a roast which is excellent given the quality and quantity of the plate.

I recommend to phone them and book a table - they do their best to squeeze you in if they are busy and you call on the day.

I felt obliged to write this based on pubs reopening in the height of Covid-19. Most pubs in the area are taking little to none precautions and I have no idea why. Surely making your customers feel safe should be not only a priority but good for your business? Anyway, I've made two visits to the Anglesey Arms this week and staff were absolutely brilliant in socialy distancing customers, providing a sign-in book and hand sanitizer gel everywhere and they were constantly cleaning tables and chairs. Good on them for taking care of their customers and neighbourhood. Also, bloody lovely people behind the jump with a good selection of beers on offer. The garden is very nicely kept and is the perfect sun trap at the end of a busy working day. Well done guys! 👍

REALLY lovely, home cooked Sunday lunch! Hands down the best roasties I’ve had at a pub and loads of them too. The staff were also really friendly and set out a water bowl for our dogs before we arrived. Definitely returning!

Make sure you starve yourself for 3 days prior to the Sunday roast! By jove, you’ll roll out of the place. Roast potatoes were awesome, plenty of gravy and you’ll struggle to squeeze in the veges.
Deserts look great too, just no space to fit one in!

Wine list limited, but good selection of beers. Well worth a visit, best to book in advance so as not to be disappointed!

One of those places you want to take overseas guests to showcase a Sunday roast.

Fantastic Sunday roast. I had the 'small' portion which was MORE than enough. Great service in a good locals pub.

Visited for the Sunday roast with the family. We had to book 3 weeks in advance as the place gets booked up quickly it seems. Great staff, very attentive and really welcoming. The adult roast was very generous in size, even the kids portions were probably enough for an adult. Advice would be to skip breakfast and not plan for dinner. Speed of service and taste wise it ticked all the boxes. Only negative would be they don’t serve chicken on Sundays but do offer turkey instead anyway.

We had an excellent roast dinner at the Anglesey Arms. The puddings were scrumptious. The best roast around. 10 out of 10
