Wonderful lunch prepared by Chef Andrew. Best burger I've had in a long time! Dessert lovely too!

Up to last weekend, my boyfriend and I referred to this place as "the wonky pub". Because, well, from the outside it does look quote wonky (in a charming way, don't get me wrong). However, we have now gone for Sunday roast and we have found the pub wasn't crowded, the food was quite good and the interior is tasteful. The staff were also prompt and very pleasant. I would recommend and we will definitely go back to enjoy the wonkyness some more.

Such a disappointment of a Sunday roast. The food was actually good, but such a slow service. A poor young waitress seemed to be rushed off her feet, and the only one serving a very busy restaurant! After waiting for 45 minutes from ordering our desserts, which didn't turn up, we'd had enough and asked for the bill. This took ages too! Won't be rushing back here anytime soon!

Food came out at different times, dessert came out cold.
The custard was so cold you couldn't pour it. For a decent pub they didn't have any of the fish options. The portions were disgraceful for the price of the meal. Not enough staff, will not be visiting again.

Great local pub, the atmosphere and decor is fab.
Lovely staff members and service especially from Fifi.
There was 5 of us tonight and our dog, and we had a lovely dinner and evening.
The food portion are good, variety of choices and the Dessert was yum!
Would go back and also highly recommend.
It is also a very dog friendly location.

Got there it was jammed packed. One of the bar staff was telling a woman I either shut the bar and clear the restaurant or you wait . We weren’t told it was two sittings. They did shut the bar. So we just waited until our table was ready. Lovely attentive staff. My starter was lovely I had the prawns and scallops although a tiny slither of bread, my other half’s soup was lukewarm . I ordered the beef wellington it came with 4 quarters of potatoes and 4 Brussels which were dirty And unwashed two bits of carrot. The beef was tiny and burnt and it was cold . We sent it all back . Between starter and mains took nearly an hour to be served. No salt , pepper or any sauce,s on the tables.Highly disappointing. I know Christmas is busy but it really was the worst meal. We didn’t bother waiting for desserts and noticed a table of a lease twenty people had left their dinner and and gone. I asked for my money back. Which I got with an Apology. But I won’t be back.

A bit expensive for the quality/quantity… subday roast is just on the average… just OK, burned vegetables… not too tasty … 15£.

Place is beautiful and staff arr very kind and friendly but they do not wear a face mask… they must do

We booked the private room for a wedding lunch, and it was just perfect: the cozy place and the attentive staff made all our crew feel very welcome.

We can’t thank you enough for making such a special occasion run so smoothly, we had a great time!
