Queens Head Inn Maldon

Great location views, sat outside in the amazing weather - no wait for a table, only a short wait to order food at the bar.
I was told the food would be a 30 minute wait before ordering, but it was actually lea than that in the end. Fair selection of food & reasonably priced too.

I've lived in Maldon 24 years but never been before because it always looks too packed - but with enough space & staff it didn't feel that busy - will definitely be back again.

What a welcoming and friendly place for lunch. Took my dad in his wheelchair and asked for very specific seating for him. No problem! Helpful staff and a good lunch too. It's very difficult to get dad out but we'll certainly go back. We've tried other local places and this beats them all hands down. Thank you

Went here for lunch one weekend in October. Was tempted by one of the previous reviewers who, to quote, said 'the fish and chips and ale pie were banging'.

Well, they certainly were! Best fish and chips we'd had for some time. The other meals we ordered were also as good.

Lots of outside seating here. Quite cozy inside. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Would certainly recommend if in Maldon looking for a good meal.

Very patient as we were about an hour late arriving due to M25 travel issues. Food arrived quickly and was generous portions. Beautiful views. If our family remain living in this area we'll definitely visit again.

Went here for Sunday lunch had roast beef. The beef was a little tuff. The carrots didn't have much flavour. The food was nicely presented and it was hot I did eat it all and enjoyed it tender beef would be lovely. I will eat here again but not roast beef . The place is quite nice the staff were good . Looking for a spontaneous Sunday roast and wasn't disappointed. They were very busy but found us a lovely table. The food was tasty and service was great. A bit of a wait after ordering for the food but they were very busy. Lovely festive feel.

This is a nice pub to finish your costal walk. Being literally on the water front, it benefits a superb view. I can't vouch for the quality of the food but the service is good and beer is OK. I've been here before and I'll stop here again. Like I said, it's a nice spot.
