Just passing through and found this place. Our dinner and desserts were delicious. Wonderful atmosphere and pleasant service. Enjoy!

We came here for brunch today only to find the venue shut. Such a shame as Google and their website showed as open. I have adjusted their hours as an edit.
We asked a chap working out the back if they were open when we found the front door locked. He wasn’t exactly polite.
Such a poor experience all round.

Environment is great, staff is lovely, food is tasty as well.

Had a pizza here (can't remember the name, meaty something?) with sodas shared between 2 persons and we feel full after the meal.

Pizza supposedly for 1 person but we have small stomachs I guess. Pizza is very tasty indeed.

Definitely will come again 👍

Outstanding food, can't recommend enough. We will be back soon! If you haven't visited you must.

Went again for their Sunday roast and it was insanely good. My top local place for Roast and do some delicious desserts to finish off.

Brilliant Sunday roast! The turkey was juicy, vegetables well seasoned and cauliflower cheese was beautiful! Both the puddings were the best we’ve ever tasted! Lovely atmosphere and building, 10/10! Will definitely come back here again 😄😄

Our wedding day made perfect by the poplar farm inn. The food was delicious. The staff were fantastic with the service and kindness the landlady could not do enough for us. We were amazed at the low price of it all. Thankyou so very much

Came in for lunch and the service started off amazing and the lovely lady who had red and black hair was so friendly. However we found after eating we where sat waiting for 15 minutes to try and get someone to take away our plates and order pudding. After pudding we where sat waiting for a while to try get someone so we could get our bill and pay. We also found that the burger description mentions pulled beef brisket, there was none of this on the burger, it was just a standard burger. The food all tasted amazing but was disappointed at the description not being accurate and the long wait time.

Visit was for Christmas day lunch. We were a party of 3 adults. On our arrival we were shown to our table our food was all pre ordered. Starters arrived about 30 minutes later fine but then we waited for another hour for our mains all ordered turkey. Very disappointed that there was no sprouts Swede or stuffing and the parsnips were rock hard and not edible and the roast???? Potatoes not a lot better. Both looked like they had been done in a fryer. The pub was not very busy as most people had finished their meals at this time. Desserts were fine. Disappointed that no coffees were offered to complete the meal. Have visited before for Sunday lunch which was far better than the Christmas day lunch. I don't think it was worth the money as and would not recommend it or visit again for Christmas. Very disappointed as the 3 of us are pensioners and not flush with money. Waiting staff were very helpful and polite and I didn't want to complain as they worked hard.
