Had a lovely sunday family lunch here. Great old style English pub with a very decent kitchen! We had the baked Camembert and garlic to start. Followed by a summer menu special... WHOLE Greek chicken, tzaziki, salad and chips. Good food good price. Chicken was maybe ever so slightly dry but the tzaziki and lemon should handle that. Problem was they never gave us more than a couple wedges at a time. I think the platter should come with a few to begin with. Very Greek and Mediterranean styley. All washed down with a couple of ice cold Peronis. Job done.

We were just passing by this pub and decided to stop and take some break.

I think here, far from London, you can truly understand what is the English pub looks like and how locals like to spend time there. It was full of people, and we even felt a bit uncomfortable as strangers at first.

The food was good and prices decent.

There is playground for the kids, and it's allowed to eat outside with your dog)

Unremarkable building from the outside houses a remarkable pub inside. Great fish and chips. Exquisite collection of horse harness brass buckles. This is a museum with great food

The Full Moon is my Mum and I’s favourite pub in the area. Subdued dining area inside and a large garden if the weather is nice. Staff are always friendly and professional. Prices are good value for decent quality food with a varied menu. Definitely worth a visit

We have lived in the area for 6 years and I can honestly say it was the best restuarant meal we have have had since being back in the Uk. We had the olives with lovely sourdough and white bait for starters. Olives was lovely and warm sourdough bread. Main was the Chateaubrind. Perfectly cooked medium rare with gorgiuos garlic on top. Seriously yum! Thank you chef!

Absolutely awful Sunday lunch. Whole dinner was so dry had to ask for extra gravy. My daughter had chicken and they brought out 3 chicken drumsticks when I asked if that’s how they normally serve the chicken they just said yes. All the meat was so dry and my husbands was mainly fat. The roast potatoes were to dry and over cooked there was no potato just crust ( I think we probably had about 1 potato each). I did mention that the food was poor and the staff just said “I’ll let them know”. I will definitely not be returning

Even though I've lived local for over twenty years, this was my first visit to The Full Moon.
We had a table in their outdoor covered area for evening dinner and drinks.
Service was just a little slow to get going but soon picked up, I think it may have been a shift change over.
Real Ale choice was limited but quality was good.
Dinner was faultless.
Will definitely come back.
