Great family pub where the staff are friendly and welcoming. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of freshly cooked food.
Free to use pool table, table tennis and dart board so will keep family and friends occupied for hours.
Happy hour between 16:30 till 6pm.

Lovely little country pub. Great food, good beer selection, free pool and table tennis, great outside area, staff are friendly as you like. Also the pub dog is awesome. Dog friendly as well.

Great value ad well. £85 for dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids, plus several rounds of drinks (for the adults). Pleasantly surprised.

Try the Chorizo scotch egg. It's great.

Highly recommended.

Sunday roast to die for! Very reasonably priced, and tasted amazing. Pub dog was very friendly. Lovely atmosphere

Wonderful hospitality, delicious pork belly, and cold pints are more than enough on their own. But, throw in the sweetest pub dog of all time and a cozy fire place and this is what country pub dreams are made of. Excellent service throughout and highly recommended!

Food was average. Menu could do with more flare and customers need to be told there is items missing from the menu before being served what was ordered.

Service was okay but could of been better.

Pub itself is lovely with a nice local vibe. Definitely need some outside lighting though. Can't see a thing when you walk out the door and to your car.

Honestly the best Pimms I've ever had, I don't know how they made it so much better than other places but they did! Lovely location, plenty of outdoor seating and vegetarian food options available. Staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. Within easy walking distance of Dunn street campsite.

Regular visitor. Love this place, particularly love the mussels, seabass and rather unusual scotch eggs... delicious! The set course during the week is great value too.

What a great evening at this lovely country pub.
Food was great with an apple and raspberry crumble to die for and all washed down with an excellent traditional pint of ale.
We were looked after really well !!
