One of, if not the most welcoming pub in Cambridge just like its name suggests. Lovely wooden interior, heated by a wooden fireplace, renders the place magical. It brought me back to a nostalgic memory of my youth in an 'osteria' within the depths of the north-eastern Italian alps! I JUST LOVE IT!!!

Lovely varied selection of draft and cask beer. The barman was friendly and gave a few recommendations for beer that was spot on. Interior is lovely, comfortable and warming. The craft beer on tap was expensive but not unexpected.

I'd say one of the best pubs to the south from Cambridge city centre. Lovely decor and good quality beer selection. They don't do food but let you order in or bring in a takeaway.

Nice traditional pub, good choice of ales and ciders. Beautiful wooden beams. Lovely barmaid. Definitely pop in for a pint!

Great ,good old fashioned pub,friendly knowledgable bar staff,sadly following trend away from simple IPA and aligning with so called craft beers .

Loved the pub. Great atmosphere. Loved the support for the LGBTQ+ community. Need more pubs to front up and own their position

Not been here for some time and it had been closed for years but found out it reopened in March 2022! Excellent traditional ale pub, very friendly and it looks closed most of the time so make sure you push the door!
