The Nag's Head

Waited half an hour for so called pork loaded chips only to receive a bowl of chips with some sauce. Waited another 10 minutes for the "correct dish" which was clearly the same plate of chips with a few things added. Picture attached. Soggy beyond belief, hideous, lazy food.

Service was also terrible. Waited at an empty bar for 5 minutes with two members of staff completely ignoring me.

On top of all that, a rude homeless guy was allowed to make two runs of every table in the place asking for money and would swear at you when refused.

Will never return

Lovely wee beer garden, two pool tables and good service - I’ve seen rough crowds in here Fri - Sun, but it’s genuinely not a bad watering hole.

Only went there to watch the football big screens all over the pub. Also two pool tables at the other end. A bit noisy if you like quiet pubs it won't be for you.

Decent pub, was there last night for halloween. I’m only writing this review and given a 5 star as I saw how the general public can be so rude to security yet head of security was calm and polite. Hats off to them. 5 star for head of security who rubs that pub! I think his name is Abi.

Bar staff are nice. One of them who works their got totally drunk! Kept talking to the whole world and sticking her bum out! Saying she has an Argentina bum! Seriously!!? Where’s the respect in where you work?! Does not look professional in anyway of form. Management needs to review this, need to keep some standards in a working environment.
Dj was awful not the one that was there a few weeks back. Maybe his new but what a let down! DJ was a disaster. Needs to change people was leaving bcoz of it and so did I.

Only gave 5 star bcoz of head security otherwise would be a 2/3! They make us feel safe, protect us regardless of them getting abused! Respect to Security especially Abi.

I went there earlier today and it was very disappointing because my burger was a rip off. I had the BBQ Mac burger and it almost no Mac & Cheese certainly no BBQ sauce as well taking about 30mins to come so when it did come it was lukewarm after I asked about it. The burger was ok but small and I don't think it worth £8.99 plus with a drink. It looked like there been a power cut because all the lights went off. I don't expect Michelin Star style food or service but I expect better than a small lukewarm burger that looks far more like a general cheese burger rather than a BBQ Mac Burger.

The venue has a good vibe. But you need to change your head doorman. He has 0 customer relations, 0 respect and 0 attitude. I myself am a head doorman but I would NEVER Associate with him. He lets the venue down.

Spacious, standard boozer right on the Wood Green junction. Staff *are* friendly, but overall it doesn't have a lot going for it - at least it's better than Spouters Corner over the road. Good for watching all the Wood Green randoms come and go.

Big venue with Sky Sports, watched the Manchester City vs Brighton game on Saturday evening and stayed for food. I had the hunters chicken pie with mash and gravy was really nice and pretty cheap, my girlfriend had sausage and mush and we shared a portion of chips.
