Always a lovely pub - surprisingly spacious with nooks and crannies, and some outside seating. A really good range of beers, and the menu is good (really enjoyed the pie!). My sole tip would be to anticipate the interval rush from the theatre upstairs and put everyone behind the bar - always seems to catch the staff unaware! 😃

We’ve only been coming to this pub for just over a year but it’s honestly one of the friendliest and most welcoming pub I’ve known. We were made to feel like locals from the first visit and the staff are always so personable and friendly. I do love this pub ☺️
They are also very dog friendly and will always have lend a phone charger if they can. Lovely staff and lovely pub!

Literally shocking behaviour!
Friday late afternoon My phone ran out of battery and unfortunately I did not have any cards or cash. I know quite unfortunate. As I was not able to hail a cab I went I the pub to ask for assistance.
I said that Im stranded and I have no way of getting home, if they could charge my phone or call me a cab that would be really helpful.
She looked back at two other colleagues and everyone said NO! I was so shocked that they refused to help, I asked again if they at least charge few percent of the battery.
She said : we have TWO CHARGERS, and they are in use! What a c***
I don’t mind buying something, when my phone is charged but I’m laterally asking to HELP ME !
To the 3 people in the bar: next time when something unfortunate will happen to you, look back to this moment and you will know that Karma is a thing.
To the bar owner: you have staff that will not assist your customers in need and customer service is non existent.
Obviously I will never go to that place again.

Amazing! Such a beautifully quaint pub, with a great atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. Now one of my favourite spots to go for a drink/meal with friends, and the bonus is having a theatre right upstairs. They host regular pub quizzes, sports events, live musicians, and are consistently promoting local talent. I highly recommend going here, even if you’re just popping in for a pint after watching a show at the theatre.

A cozy little pub with a great ambiance. The staff were also so accommodating towards my assistance dog, which I really appreciated. It would be great if they could offer non-dairy milk options in the future, but other than that the experience was perfect! Will definitely be returning. The chips, glühwein, and beer were excellent.

I used to love this pub, but I’m not sure what’s happened to it. We went yesterday at 5:30pm, we ordered a steak and fish and chips, after waiting around 15-20 minutes for our meal (the pub was half empty) my steak arrived cold, I asked for them to cook a warm steak, while the waiter went to speak to the kitchen to ask if it was possible I ate the 3 ring onions on my plate. After waiting another 15 minutes for my steak (my partner in the meantime finished his meal) they brought my meal, the steak was lovely, 6 chips 🤣 (I counted them), no ring onions 🤣 (as I ate them before the chef must have decided not to give me another onion ring 🤣) and the peppercorn sauce was so little (less than a spoon).What was supposed to be a nice meal together we ended up watch each other eat, me watching my partner eat and then him watching me eat. It’s a shame, I’m local and this place has always been my favourite pub in Chiswick, but the last couple of times we went it’s been disappointing

Nice pub I've only been here during the day and staff friendly beers good toilets very clean, will have to pop in some evening to see what it's like

Pretty pub with some nice guest beers. Boiled egg and chips. Will return.
