Blacksmith's Arms Inn Cloughton - County Inn & Accommodation Scarborough North Yorkshire

Rooms very clean and well maintained if somewhat dated. Bathrooms are a good size but bedrooms are small, adequate for an overnight stay. Food lovely but a bit on the expensive side, 2 course meal for 2 with a drink was £60, certainly couldn't afford to eat here every night. Nothing nearby (shops, pubs, restaurants) so you need a car.

Played golf in Scarborough and found this gem of a place to stay in. Far enough outside Scarborough to avoid the hustle and bustle, or a £10 taxi ride if you want it.
Hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. Great vibe in the bar and restaurant area, with an ample choice of mainstream and premium lagers/ales/ciders. Food was delicious too.
Accommodation itself was very clean with the usual home comforts you’d expect.
Nice to find a place with ample car-parking. The ‘Blacksmiths Arms Inn’ is also an attractive looking building.

A really good gastro pub. Amazing stake pie with proper short crust and the sticky toffee pudding was scrumptious! You can tell that the cook loves making really good traditional food and without the extra fat they put in other pubs

Lovely relaxed meal on nice table in dining room. Food delicious, ample and salmon thoroughly enjoyable and best of all it was piping hot. Seemed expensive but weighing up everything good price.

We went for a meal here during our honeymoon week. The food was superb. I had the barnsley lamb chop and its the best chop I've ever had! We ate in the lovely restaurant and the staff were lovely, very friendly. Will be back when we're that way again. Would definitely recommend.

Had a very lovely dinner, bed and breakfast here. Beautiful 4 poster bed, open fire, delicious chicken with lemon and pepper sauce. Traditional inn with lovely hosts, particularly enjoyed the barman's tales about the queens visit in 2010 (she had a pub lunch!).

After a Lonnng, Hot Walk a Pint of Cold Lager was very much Appreciated (ahem and Deserved!). We sat Outside because we had the Dog, but we did notice a sign saying Dogs Welcome. Benches were Clean. Pint was Pricey, but this can't be Helped. Would Definitely visit Again, maybe even have a Meal next Time.

Partner and I stayed here for the weekend recently and we were very pleased with accommodation very peaceful found staff very helpful and friendly food was excellent only set back was at breakfast no black pudding but still excellent if we get the opportunity to visit Scarborough again would definitely book here to stay
