The Shoulder at Hardstoft

An absolute hidden gem! We took my Mum for mother's day lunch. The Service, The Food, The Surroundings, couldn't fault it. We had plenty of elbow room between tables, so we couldn't hear other conversations, but wasn't isolated. The service was very attentive without being over bearing, the landlord & landlady are lovely & friendly. The food was delicious, honestly if you want to try somewhere off the beaten track, but still on a main road then The Shoulder at Hardstoft is your place to go. Try & book if you can as they do seem very busy. Oh large carpark & accessible for disabled.

Great place with great food. The decor was lovely and really cozy. Despite arriving really late, the owner was happy to serve us and showed us around. The staff were really kind and friendly.

Our first but certainly not the last visit. We were greeted warmly and provided with excellent service. We all enjoyed all our 3 courses and wine. Definitely would recommend. They do have theme nights for both food and entertainment you might wish to check. Ample parking and you can even stay overnight.

Our first visit but we all thoroughly enjoyed our food and drink. We were greeted warmly and all staff offered excellent service from start to finish. We shall return soon and I am very happy to recommend this delightful place. Theme nights on certain nights of the week such as quiz night etc. In addition special food nights such as steak or curry. Ample parking at you can even stay overnight.

One of my favourite pubs, the food and beer selection is fantastic! The staff are always so friendly and will make an effort to chat to their customers. The pub itself is beautiful and great seating outside for when it is sunny!

Absolutely love going to the shoulder. The staff and everyone in there are so welcoming and friendly. We always have the best nights whenever we come here and the food is always great. The owners always go above and beyond. Best pub around 👍🏻

The pub/restaurant was a mish-mash of styles. We wasn't keen on the small bar stools at the table for seating while eating a meal. but there was a nice open fire. Menu was limited but the food we ordered was tasty 😊
