Just had an amazing Sunday roast. Food was delicious, staff very attentive. Really lovely surroundings. We had the best seat in the house right by an open fire.

Pleasant, friendly staff. Lit the fire for us as it was a bit chilly.
Dog friendly-got lots of attention!

Our waitress was lovely, so friendly and welcoming. I asked for an out the way table which was provided, lovely seating area.
We had mains and desserts and each of us (4) cleared our plates- delicious!
The black Forrest flower pot was a winner!

Only one thing that wasn’t perfect was the pints of pepsi max we had were quite flat but apart from that amazing- we will be returning and recommending!! Thanks

Great food (we couldn't get over the lovely presentation of the edible flower pot desert!) Staff were friendly as well, place had a nice welcoming feel to it

Stopped in for a quick lunch with the family. Service was quick and attentive and the staff were mindful of the fact we were in a bit of a rush. The food was delicious and great value for money. Excellent quality and care all round - can't recommend them highly enough!

Having not been in for a long time, I booked a table for 6 family members in the front area near the fire.
Everything was just great, the service was efficient and friendly, food very well presented on plates that were nice and hot, atmosphere pleasantly relaxed.
We all felt comfortable and very much enjoyed our Sunday lunch at the Red Lion...

We visited for Sunday lunch, two of us had the trio of meat Sunday roast. One had fish and chips. The food was delicious and served lovely and hot. We didn't have a starter but did treat ourselves to a Christmas pudding dessert. We will be back.
