Probably the best chef & brewer I have ever visited. Right from welcome, quality food, good service & the best toilets with some very nice additions as my picture. No doubt a well managed restaurant. I wish it was my local.

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch. There was lots to choose from on the regular menu as well as some very interesting specials too.
The restaurant is well maintained and has pleasant decor. Clean and well equipped toilets are available including one for disabled customers.
There is adequate parking despite the restaurant being quite full.
The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

A lovely family friendly pub. Myself and 5 family members had a very tasty and well presented meal. From the starters of which I had pate to the main courses everything was well presented and beautifully cooked. The menu us very varied so I would think there was something on there menu for everyone. Thanks to the the lovely friendly staff it was a very enjoyable visit. We will be back soon. Xxx

I have to say the Cross Keys is my favourite pub-restaurant in the area. We've tried most of them and for the best all-round dining experience, the Cross Keys wins hands down.

Set in beautiful countryside, it has ample parking and a spacious, tastefully decorated interior. The staff are genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Essentially these days, the menu is broad and inclusive for all, with lots of firm favourites to choose from complimented by tempting new creations courtesy of their innovative Chef.

The food is hot, ample and of course delicious. Best of all, its always great value for money. So much so we are making it our regular monthly treat and why not.

Give the Cross Keys a try. you wont regret it :-0)

Decided late on Sunday afternoon we couldn't be bothered cooking. Booked a table simply using their website. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was fabulous. I had the vegan Mushroom Wellington and my partner, the 6hour cooked belly pork - both were absolutely delicious

Lovely place to come with my Mum!

It's become her go-to place when meeting up with her 80s friends, The Slyne Babes😄
👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻

We booked on the way via an automated booking system - apparently you say "Manager" if you actually want to speak to a person to find out how busy they are!

Fortunately, they weren't busy. However, would've preferred a table for four, for the two of us, as we were either going to be right by the freezing doors or by the ladies' toilets which was also drafty! My Mum did move her chair round.

Rather a long wait for food, considering it was quite quiet (had heard this from various people). Mum had lasagne as they didn't have the curry she was looking forward to, and wasn't overly impressed with it, as it tasted just like a heated up ready-meal, but OK.

My gammon was DELICIOUS!!!! It had a coke and whisky sauce to pour over which was wonderful!!! I could've eaten a bowl full🧡🖤

We were very full but after a short break we had the mini pudding and a hot chocolate 🤎🤎!!

Lovely staff, especially the Manager who explained how to contact the pub directly😌
and was very friendly and helpful.

First visit here with family. The decor etc is lovely and the atmosphere was good. We were well looked after by Craig all evening, nothing was too much trouble.
However, after all this the food was average. Nothing major, just mediocre. For example I had Cajun Chicken burger and it was very dry. I gather that the squid was also dry.
We had a good time altogether, but we will not be rushing back. Sorry
