Visited the pub tonight. The first time for food. OH MY GOD. The food was immense, I had steak pie , mash and peas. Just unreal, best pie I have ever had. Give it a go. Go on!

I thought this was a dog friendly pub, went in with my dog and both my daughters. One 6 years old and one 5months old in a pram. With my fiancé. My dog growled at a dog on the other side of pub, ‘just wanting to to play’ and the landlady went mad saying I am not welcome, she spoke me to like ****. Would not recommend for families. I thought they have wanted my money seen as though they are always so quiet. This was 31.12.23. Wouldn’t recommend for families.

First time back here for years. Re- starting a monthly folk music evening. Went well. Staff friendly and helpful. Welcoming pub. Let's hope it's a good start and the monthly session continues. Place nice and clean.

It was quiet but very comfortable - the refurb looks great - and the monthly folk group 1st Thurs evening is welcoming and great fun! 🕗

What a gem of a place. The food and hospitality was exceptional. As we were visiting the area we ended up eating here twice. Beautiful home cooked food, highly reccommend.
