Awesome East End pub, lovely staff, good beers, great beer garden, karaoke Mondays and quiz Wednesdays 6 to 8. Comfortable tub chairs and leather sofas and traditional bar stools. Nice crowd.

Cash only pub. We came here on St. Patrick’s Day and had a fun afternoon. Great Guinness! We were also offered some complementary stew which was delicious (but not vegetarian) - treat for St Patrick's... otherwise no food here at all, only crisps.
The music list was good; however, the acoustics were awful. We all felt so relieved when we stepped outside, as we felt like we were going deaf inside the pub due to poor sound quality & loudness.
The pub itself was quite spacious with a small beer garden at the back which would’ve been much nicer without parked cars in there.
Friendly and efficient staff. Good vibe. Children are allowed on premises until 19:00.

Solid pub with an eclectic music scene.

Staff are outstanding.

Not my typical venue, a friend suggested meeting in the area and it was literally the only bar around. It was OK, we had a good time dancing to reggae music, the prices seemed a bit high for the area. It's a pub, a high street pub...

I always come here, the staff are lovely, always able to deal with inconveniences. I get along with the people there too, cheap drinks. Never had a bad time here :)

If your a wine bar type you will hate this place. Friendly staff n punters, some great music when I was here today. Inexpensive proper old pub. Long may it last.

Great local. Fab bar staff, a good selection of bottled ales and when that runs out, a great pint of Guinness! (they have lagers and ciders too!). Brill quiz on a Wednesday night. And live music with The Shuffle Brothers putting on a gig now and then.
