Swan

I enjoyed this place, dog friendly, staff were brilliant, chips just need cooking a bit more!

My first visit to the Swan. And it won't be my last. I went with my daughter and grandchildren. Who were very pleased to have the colouring books. The food was excellent. Hot and freshly cooked. And the staff were very pleasant and polite. WELL DONE THE SWAN.

Well I had the steak & ale pie with mash and green with some lovely gravy and extra gravy too, my daughter had the cheese and bacon burger with fries and coleslaw, we both enjoyed our meals the food was very tasty and hot, the staff where friendly and helpful and service was excellent overall a wonderful experience.

We visited for a family Christmas meal (16/12/2022) (festive menu) and we were delighted with the warm, cosy, and festive space. The lady front of house was so friendly and welcoming, really genuine and warm. The whole pub/restaurant smelled gorgeous with festive spiced candles. The food was delicious and the service was great. Fantastic staff that made us feel welcome. Really polite friendly staff. An asset to the pub! Thank you for making our evening so lovely. X

A lovely establishment. Very welcoming and comfortable. The Christmas decorations were lovely. Just right.
The staff were friendly and helpful if a little slow with some of the service.
The menu was extensive and the meals themselves were huge - in fact too big. Too much food is quite off-putting. But it was well cooked and tasty. (The meal was so big I left as much as I ate)
It was a lovely lunch and worth the money. I would certainly return to the Swan.

The place is beautifully kept. The Christmas decorations were tastefully done. The menu was extensive. The size of the meals was huge. The food itself was lovely, but there was too much of it on the plate which, for me, is a little off-putting.
The staff were very friendly and promptly took our drink order and gave us plenty of time to choose our food. There was no rushing. It was very relaxed.
All in all a lovely lunch in a beautiful restaurant. I would certainly go back there.

Lovely venue for our lunchtime meeting with family. Tastefully decorated for Christmas. Lovely layout to the dining area and the lounge area. Gina and Lauren were very attentive waitresses. Watching Gina lay up a table showed such pride in her job. So nice to see that. The food was superb and portions generous. Will definitely recommend and will be back.

We were a party of 13 having Christmas dinner. The food and the service was exceptional. So much so we booked for next year. All the staff were excellent , they worked very hard indeed to make sure we had a lovely dining experience. The front of house staff member Lee was very professional and looked after us all.
Many thanks for a lovely afternoon in a nice relaxed atmosphere with good food and service. I am speaking on behalf of all our party.
