Excellent Food Good Seletion of Drunks Lovley Staff and Clientele. All at value or money prices. A good night out was had by all.

I booked a table for my husband and our best friends as our usual choice was closed for refurbishment. I'd heard good things about the Arches and wanted to try something different.

There are plenty of options to choose from the menu - both English and Indian dishes, which you can mix and match.

The restaurant is lovely, service was excellent, and the food was beautiful. Even so, it's very expensive. The Indian menu is mainly cheaper than the English menu (but curries don't come with rice so we had to order that as a side). I'm happy to pay a little more for quality but there are places just as good that are cheaper. For example, my husband would often opt for a mixed grill but was put off by the price as it was a good £7 or £8 more than other places for the same items. We still spent well over £110 between 4 people even picking some cheaper options.

I don't like to complain as, other than the high prices, we couldn't fault the place. Perhaps we'll return for a special occasion (or if someone else is paying 😂)

Horrible service. I ordered medium rare steak and they brought me wel done proper dry rump steak. When I asked for them to cook it for me as I order they brought me raw steak.
Never again.

Manager was great at arranging a short notice family meal for 15 on a Friday night. Staff were great and food was delicious. Will definitely return

17 of us went last night. Lovely place and it was packed. Service was very good but had to wait quite a while for my coffee at the bar. But like I said it was really busy. Judging by the empty plates on the table the food was really nice. We had 3 courses. The pate was absolutely divine. My roast beef wasn't cooked enough for me and cold. And the potatoes were cold too. The veg wasn't my choice either. I then had Christmas pudding. But wasn't to my taste. The meal was well presented and looked nice but it wasn't for me. I might try it again and have something different.

Absolutely beautiful setting, literally the cleanest, newest looking building I've seen, that's not actually brand new! 3 year old. Looks spotlessly clean, brand new. Hugely impressive to maintain!!! Massive appreciation for that.

Cocktails and drinks are exceptional, made to order, made brilliantly!
The food, Indian and British, we chose starter from Indian and English mains.
We where not disappointed! The starters, phenomenal! Seriously 9.9 put of 10! Wow!!!! Mains, stunning visually, massive portions. We really enjoyed our mains. Just loom at them! Dessert, WOW!
We met the chef, he wad so attentive, came out to check on us, talk to us, make sure we where happy and he was amazing! Dessert was a work of art.
We can not wait to come visit again. Thank you Chef!
