Great little Gem just outside the city centre. Life music and a great selection of drinks.
A must if your a fan of real music, by real musicians and not your "plastic manufactured" top 40 nonsense

What a fantastic night I had at the Poetica event. I enjoyed a local sour beer with great company. A very friendly and welcoming lady at the bar was a perfect host.

Only been here a couple of times but enough to be recognised and welcomed. Beers change in a regular basis, not too bad a price. Check the web site for events, quiz nights popular. Pretty much want you want from a local pub. 👍

Really nice experience. New garden arrangement with tented music entertainment space, wooden flooring and ample seating. Great choice of really ales, 6 on offer and tried 3, all very good. Good snacks, recommend the Smoking Chicken.
