Brilliant selection of Ales.

A nice pub down a back alley, a little away from the main road. But not at all lacking in selection ales, pub snacks, atmosphere.

Have visited a few times, and always presented with lots of options of beers, ales and ciders; as well as a nice selection of whiskey.

The pub has a nice atmosphere with a host of locals who visit, and friendly bar staff. Good value beers too.

Best pub for me. Old school local boozer.. no music no food apart from bar snacks and when the landlord decides to put out some roast potatoes and cheese and crackers.no tv no riff raff!! Local ales and local patrons but newcomers are welcome. This pub has unopened beers dating back to the 70s as decorations on a shelf around the top of the walls very unique. Nice log burner is on in winter and some very comfy lounge sofas. Little beer garden, separate private room. What more could a local want. The Guiness is clean and cold. Highly recommend anyone to drop in and have a chat with the friendly, welcoming locals.

Great little real ale pub, no music unless there are a few people playing instruments in a corner. A place you can relax with a nice pint of ale and chat the evening away with friends. In winter there is a real fire too which adds to the ambience. No food served, just ale.
Great pub to while away an evening in chatting with friends over a good pint.
Recommended.

First time here and so far so good, what a lovely find, like a big village pub tucked away in back streets of dunstable, been recommended to me many times in the last six years but this is the first time I have visited it because it's off the beaten track, I don't know yet how popular it is at the weekends but I can imagine with enough publicity this could become a major competitor to the old sugar loaf.

What a surprise....old fashioned back street pub that is like a TARDIS inside. The bar area went on and on. Plenty of seating. No parking with the pub but plenty around it.

Nice traditional pub with just a good selection of beer and definitely no food or annoying children. Nice comfy chairs near the fireplace if you can get them.

Probably the friendliest pub I've ever had the pleasure of walking into.

As my wife and I walked in, we were greeted with smiles from the regulars. This may not seem unusual but we're coloured. Yep I know it's 2022 and that shouldn't make a difference but it sometimes does.

Definitely recommend and we'll certainly be coming back.
