The Bull

The first meeting for dinner was nice and okay. The next day we strolled over hungry for lunch but met a caos. Would recommend you prenotate before going, as we were dished an unexpected surprise, we waited for close to an hour and a half to be served a plate we jointly demanded to help the kitchen meet their imposed fry pan fried 1/4 chicken.

We stopped here on a lazy Sunday out for some lunch.
The pub is a very traditional (17th C) building, and they had the fire going on the chilly January day we visited.
The staff were very friendly, genuine and warm and the food was just what we were looking for; simple, inexpensive and tasty.
Very much recommended!

Fabulous roast dinner today. Despite all the extra measures they have had to introduce, the staff were friendly, efficient and the food was amazing. Thank you for lifting our spirits!

Very polite and helpful staff. Good quality food using fresh ingredients from what I could tell. The curry should be good because the chef is Indian. Love to come back if I'm driving past the M40

Great Milton is a lovely village and the Bull is certainly in keeping with the village. Our experience was outstanding! The staff were attentive and efficient, drinks were at our table in good time with food following not long after. Scampi was hot crunchy and real with a generous portion size. Burger was simple but delicious again a generous size , it held together well in the hand and left me feeling sated. Drinks were priced very affordably and a meal for 3 with drinks was under £45 which in these times is incredible value. I have to say hats of to this community pub as it really was a place we will go back too and recommend to friends.

A cozy charming village pub in Great Milton. The uniqueness of this pub has to be it's family friendly atmosphere. Great selection of wine and beer on tap. The food is worthy of an applause. Lovely selection of starters, mains and deserts. The quality and portion size is impressive along with reasonable pricing. Hat's off to the amazing chef and the ever friendly staff who's quite knowledgeable. Highly recommended to have a cozy & fun filled family time here.

Brilliant little country inn tucked away in the heart of Oxfordshire. We were luckily enough to stumble upon this inn when on a random drive around the area.
The staff were very helpful when ordering our meal, they knew all about the menu and helped us pick our dishes along with a good glass of wine.
The menu had a really good selection,
(I have added some photos). I ordered the lamb which was really good, I will definitely be back to try some other dishes.
