We passed the inn and it looked funky on the outside so decided to have lunch there. It was amazing the roast chicken was crispy and juicy. The homemade fries were so good we ordered more, and the pecan brownie was delicious. The food and hospitality explained why they won four in a bed.
Their outside tepee was very cool.

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
The staff that work there are so friendly and happy even when a thunderstorm comes and switches off everyone's power in the area!

The dinner was amazing, from start to finish. The bar service was great, always happy to help and serve. When the lights went out, candles were lit and spirits were high.

The breakfast the following morning was lovely and we were greated by the 4 legged host too!

We stayed in the pumpkin room, it was huge and very spacious!

Definitely a room that retains the heat too!

Will be coming back without a doubt. Best place we've stayed in, great experience all round

I found some dry kibble dog food in my room by the window.
The room was spacious and the big bed was very comfortable.

In the morning I was so excited for breakfast but unfortunately the girl on the early shift was miserable and late for work. Forgetting to put things out like milk. It made us late waiting for her.

Breakfast was disappointing because my poached eggs where rock hard. They did offer to change them but I didn’t have the time to wait further so I ate them as they were.

The keys have these over large plastic pictures on that scrape the sides of the door way and make it hard to turn the key to get into the room.
Sound travels , the doors are loud, the key turning is a noisy process.

If you have kids that are light sleepers ask if there is night entertainment on. It is fun but very noisy. There’s no getting away from it.

The downstairs is cute. The teepee was cool

Really great country Inn, beautiful and clean rooms with tea/coffee area, powerful shower , really comfy huge bed , fluffy towels and toiletries.
Staff welcoming and helpful .
The breakfast selection was plentiful .Full English was really good, well cooked with quality fresh ingredients , continental meats, pastries, cereals and fresh fruits. Definatly recommended a stay here.

A very welcoming pub/restaurant. The food is excellent and the beer is good as well. Food is served pretty much all day, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. The service is polite and friendly. It is more expensive than most of the other pubs in the area. However, in most cases, you are getting what you pay for. It's absolutely worth a visit.

Good home cooked country food..room was clean and quiet except for a bit of noise as people left at closing time. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value! Nice decor..interesting place with a bit of history to it.

First time at this beautiful place. I loved the lay out, lots of nooks and crannies. Food was delicious and served on piping hot plates which always gets a thumbs up from me. Very pleasant staff and friendly environment. Worth a visit!

Went here for lunch on the 27/12/22, food was very disappointing, burgers not cooked and was oozing blood onto plates and cold, chocolate brownies were meant to come with chocolate sauce and it was Literally a cocoa powder and water mix and was super dry. When we complained to the staff they didn’t really listen and carried on clearing the table, even after being told 3-4 times but different people at the table. Chef came out a few times and was petting dogs outside the front door, be nice to know if he washed his hands. No one made any attempt to apologise even though there was 4 uneaten burgers and all complained. The only member of our party to eat all of the burger was then later sick on the evening, don’t know if this was due to the food but can’t imagine it helped being undercooked/raw. Won’t be going back here ever again, real shame as year before food was amazing, severely gone downhill. Save your money and go somewhere else.
