We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely selection from the menu! Pizzas were brilliant and burgers were great. Sitting under the willow in the garden by the river sipping beer was idyllic! Live music was an added bonus!

Went for Sunday afternoon meal, but the choice was very disappointing as the already limited menu had a lot of the choice removed. The only options were fish and chips, burger or sandwiches.... The food was average. The staff were great and the drink choice was good. There were live bands, so that was fun. But to be honest since our last visit it seemed to me to have gone downhill on the food and general "feel" and as such we will not revist. 3 stars is generous.

We booked a table outside for a Sunday lunch, unfortunately when we arrived there wasn't any tables outside available, so we were offered a table indoors. I guess it's a first come first served basis?!

Food was good. Nice outside seating arrangement. Parking was a little crammed and hard to find a place and the surface wasn't great, big holes that would ground out a sports car.

Nice vegan option, Mediterranean tart and very generous portions of chips. Lovely outside area with benches and river view, enough space to keep toddler happy for several hours.

Slightly into the countryside as mates wanted to go somewhere my rural rather than the City (Canterbury) Free parking for the pub restaurant so that's a plus. Nice surroundings and facing the canal/river good for the family or friends really. It wasn't my preference but there was live singing so it was overshadowing our conversation not sure if it's regular done since it was a Sunday. Food was alright Partner wanted Pizza so we shared decent size and had a good range of drinks avaliable.

I love this place, it’s a beautiful country pub/ restaurant on the side of a river. Lovely outside area. It’s all decorated for Halloween at the moment so my son absolutely loved it, the food is amazing, really good quality. We had breakfast & coffee. The service is top notch. It’s a really lovely treat. I highly recommend.

Beautiful setting and nice atmosphere. Food was good but overpriced. Portion size not enough for what you’re paying. I appreciate times are hard for pubs but a few more chips on the plate would go a long way.

Lovely place to have a drink by the water. Handy to have an app for ordering during the lockdown.

I wasn't a fan of the roast dinner as it had a lot of gravy on it. But the app didn't specify the gravy so they can't help that.
