Friendly clean some of the best food that I have had in my area. I had ham saled it was lovely and seemed to go on for ever, my husband chose steak which is said was really nice. Always quite busy we have always managed to get a table when we have called in but I think you may have to book at weekends. We'll worth a visit

Absolutely lovely place to visit.
So welcoming, we sat outside with our dogs ,they were brought water bowls and a treat .
Food was big gorgeous portions, great vegetarian options .
And just a lovely homely atmosphere.
We will be definitely visiting in a regular basis .
Plenty of parking space.

Very nice food, staff friendly and very efficient. I marked it down one star, because the chips were a little hollow and crisp. I felt as though they had been warmed up from an earlier service? Maybe Im wrong but they weren't great. Everything else was delicious and huge portions!

Out for our 21st wedding anniversary meal - and it was delicious ☺️ We each had a very tasty prawn cocktail to start (generous with the prawns), husband had a HUGE fish with homemade chips and mushy peas, and I really enjoyed the sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce. The steak was very well seasoned, and cooked just how I ask for (medium rare) Excellent food service and value for money 👍

Great little traditional pub with great home cooked food,good choice of real ales and the staff were very helpful, looking forward to our next visit!

honestly some of the best food i've ever eaten - I had the braised beef it melted in my mouth and the chips beat chipshop chips! unbelievable...can't wait to go back and fortunately my mum lives down the road. see you next time xxx

Visited on the 15th Jan had the 3 courses food delicious staff fantastic definitely going back

Perfect mini country pub, enjoyed spending new years day here for a few!
Need to return to try the food 😋
