Food like rubber. Its thrown on your plate like it's been given to dogs. Food warm not hot asked for another order for replaced came back 2 mins after it being warmed up(we had tomorrow sauce on) chips was hard peas like wet cardboard

John, Barman was welcoming friendly and helpful when ordering food and drinks.
Tia our waitress served our food and ensured we had everything needed to enjoy our meals which were well cooked and nicely presented.
We will certainly return.

Very welcoming pub! Excellent prices for beer and food. Two meals for £10.99 off the classics menu and around £7.00 for a pint of Guinness and a gin and lemonade. I had pie peas and mash. Large pie , nice filling but nowhere near full of meat and the crust was a bit hard but very tasty, otherwise I would have given the review a 5.

Bit of a mix up with the staff bringing the wrong meal out , then one of us having to wait for their meal to be cooked again.
The staff were great and apologetic and quickly corrected their error, even giving us extra chips and gravy for our daughter for free.
Great choice on the menu , something for everyone at great value prices.
Food was freshly cooked and piping hot
Delicious to taste and went down a treat.

Whilst the food was nice, every individual dish ordered by my party had something different missing, and plenty of dishes were unavailable to order. The portion sizes are also pretty small. To the point where a £9 dish came with 1 tiny chicken, 11 chips, and 1 onion ring.

Sadly just 1 chef and they are trying hard to recruit chefs kitchen waitresses and bar staff. Some food burnt and over cooked especially the gammon.Tomato soup lovely. Mushrooms lovely. Macaroni dry sauce. Good interior decor. Car parking. Disabled access and parking.
I think once get staffing levels up it will be better.

Went for a meal with friends. Everything arrived hot and fresh, meals were delicious and prices reasonable. Staff were polite and helpful. Honestly just a lovely stress free afternoon I'd go again if I lived locally
