A cracking little traditional pub in a lovely village toward North Notts. A good Sam Smiths cellar, well stocked with variety and kept really well, delivering good ales at a fabulous price.
A real fire awaits you in the winter and there are quiz nights and friendly folk to welcome you.
Staff are brill and this is a great place to call in for conversation, a beer or two and a couple of hours away from it all.

Love it here.

We attended on quiz night, originally just to have a couple of drinks, but quiz night started and we stayed on, great night. Pub has a great atmosphere, good crowd in attendance, although not large. Dogs allowed.

A proper traditional English pub which can be rare and hard to find these days. Lovely open fire in winter. Great location with a great landlady.

Little bit of a slaughtered Lamb (American Weirwolf) feeling to it. Sam Smiths Brewery so no other choice of drinks / snacks. Be aware of therno phone just conversation policy! When leaving stick to the path

Lovely pub! Lovely open fire when it’s cold outside. I like the no phone policy! Cheap prices. Friendly villagers.

The beer choice is Sam Smith's and was keenly priced and tasted fine. Welcome was a little indifferent, but the atmosphere was deadly silent in the pub and slightly bizarre. I'm all for quiet pubs with no music, but this felt like the waiting room at a dentists.

The Savile Arms is a great traditional pub at the centre of a small village. I've been here a couple times for drinks in the gorgeous beer garden since I spotted the pub a couple of weeks ago.
The hard working, friendly land lady is a star keeping this very traditional pub chugging along well.
My wife and I love this little gem and we will be back.

Popped in during a local walk.
What a great little pub. Great beer and lager, great, friendly service too.
We were the only ones in as it was mid afternoon but we will be back. I will even check out the knitting club on a Tuesday.
