The Barley Mow

Food is cooked well. I highly recommend the vegan burger. Friendly staff and prompt service. Nice outside seating areas. The garden at the back offers drinks and snacks only at this time. Beautiful decor.

We ate at the Barley Mow last night for the first time.
What a gem of a find!
A warm and friendly welcome from the whole team, and a very charming and attentive owner.
My partner and I ordered the Camembert to start, then both chose Rib Eye steak. The food was absolutely delicious.
We will be back soon and bringing friends and family!

Date night meal out. Fabulous service. Great friendly staff. Food wonderful. I had the sea bass and it was perfectly cooked. My partner had liver and bacon which was also delicious. Great wine and ambiance l. It’s a ***** from us

After hearing about this place for years in searches but never bothering, we ended up there this weekend by chance when it was the nearest pub to our walk. I wish we'd come here sooner.

The food was fantastic (best roast beef I've ever had when out for lunch - and how many pubs have their own bakery?!), the staff were lovely, the atmosphere and decor were good and it's absolutely a place we'll be coming back to. Highly recommended.

Beautiful pub with lovely food. They had lots of vegetarian and vegan options, log fire going and dog friendly. The toddler in our party even got given a Barley Mow bear for Christmas :)

A group of us have been coming here now regularly for a couple of months and really enjoying the food and atmosphere. The toilets are great too! 8 of us enjoyed a Christmas celebration with options of 2 menus. Vegan (veggie) diets catered for with options too. (Some places there is only 1 option!). The meat eaters also enjoyed their food. Looking forward to coming back again..

Smart but casual pub with very friendly staff. We both had the fish and chips, which were tasty if slightly oily. Nice decor and overall good atmosphere on a busy Saturday lunchtime.

Randomly picked this location to meet half way between two friends getting together for a birthday celebration.
